I'm a Counselling Psychologist based in Johannesburg South. My therapeutic approach aims to provide clients with support and understanding, assisting them to address their life challenges. My approach is directive and strength based, encouraging personal growth and is tailored to each client and their therapeutic needs. My experience in working with a large student population in universities and a government institution has equipped me with the skills to deal with individual issues on a short-term and long-term basis. I offer psychotherapeutic sessions; dealing with a variety of personal challenges, everyday life difficulties, and provide services geared towards personal development/growth. My services are offered in English and accommodating of the Nguni languages (isiXhosa and isiZulu). My services are suitable for individuals from various cultural and social backgrounds, and serve an inclusive population of adolescents, students and adults. My sport background has fostered an interest in merging the process of psychology with sport, in a form of assisting athletes with space to work on their personal and professional development and goals.
