As a Health Professions Council registered Counselling Psychologist, I have worked in private practice since September 2012.

Previously at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Student Counselling Centre, I worked with the student community providing for a variety of concerns and needs ranging from career assessment, adjusting to university life, relationship issues and mood conditions.

My tertiary academic career began at Rhodes University in Grahamstown where I completed three degrees, namely a Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA), a Bachelor of Honours in Psychology (BA Hons) and a Master of Arts in Psychological Research (MA Psych). I obtained my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MA Couns Psych) at NMMU.

I fell in love with Port Elizabeth and this is where I have put down roots.

My education has enabled me to explore my passion for people and creativity. Consequently, I am able to employ play and art therapy techniques as adjuncts to traditional talk therapy.
