I work with clients of all ages experiencing a wide range of challenges. People see psychologists either because they have a problem, or they wish to be happier, more fulfilled, and better able to cope with life. Whatever the reason, it takes a brave step to seek help.

My aim is to provide a supportive environment that allows you to talk openly with someone who’s objective, neutral and non-judgmental. I adapt my framework to the individual needs of my client and use evidence based psychological interventions to alleviate distress and build on personal strengths and abilities.

Focus areas:

Individual psychotherapy (adults, adolescents and couples) (Depression – Anxiety - Relationship difficulties – Divorce – Loss/Grief – Life challenges - Anger issues - Effects of childhood abuse – Self-harm – Stress – Self-esteem)

Play Therapy for younger children with regular parent feedback (Anxiety – Anger management - Behavioural difficulties – Bullying – Self-esteem – Trauma – Bereavement – Divorce – School difficulties – Selective mutism)

Parenting skills (Assisting parents to become more effective in raising their children)

Psychoeducational assessments ( Assessments in the areas of: School readiness (Grade R) - Concentration – Scholastic abilities - Learning difficulties – Autism spectrum disorders)
