I am a registered Counselling Psychologist in private practice in Sandton (Bryanston), working with children, adolescents and adults.

As a counselling psychologist I am trained to help individuals with major life challenges and adjustments. I have experience in a range of different settings, including the areas of addiction, depression/anxiety, and child sexual abuse.

I also offer a space for individuals seeking personal growth, for example, feeling stuck, feeling empty, improving coping skills, and increasing self-understanding and self-acceptance.

I offer a space dedicated just to you, where you can talk about any challenges in your life, make sense of what is going on in your thoughts, work together to find solutions, or just improve self-esteem. It is a space for you to take time out to be heard, seen and understood and talk about what is important for you.

My services include:

  • Individual Counselling

  • Couples Counselling

  • Play therapy

  • Assessments, including children’s developmental assessments, career/subject choice assessments, and psych-educational assessments for children who have academic challenges and may need focused assistance.

  • Narrative Therapy, to explore your life story, the problem dense areas of your life, and help you to find a way to narrate a more helpful life story.

  • Trauma Debriefing, comprising a short-term therapy process (6 sessions) focused specifically on working through the trauma and enhancing coping skills.

  • BWRT: Brain Working Recursive Therapy, a quick relief technique based on the latest neuroscience. It can assist with trauma, PTSD, phobias, self-perception issues and anxiety.
